Herdsmans Hut

This special Bye Mills Shepherd's Hut has luxury and your comfort in mind. Sitting in a beautiful riverside wildflower paddock, the hut has an outside living room with sofa and chair for a unique chill out space, a private hot tub, barbq and a secluded deck with stunning views across the fields.

 

This charming hut is one of only two Bye Mills on the River Chew. We encourage you to take break from everyday life and enjoy being in the moment whilst you take in the unique location, observe our mass of wildlife and enjoy being with each other without the distractions of everyday life.

At night the garden makes a magical setting to sit with a fire and listen to the nearby wier, stargaze and listen to the owls. By day the beauty of the setting, the birdsong, glimpses of kingfishers and otters make this place magical.

 

If you choose we are 12  miles west of Bath, 5 miles south of Bristol, close to Wells and Cheddar Gorge - all worth exploring. Alternatively just stay local and find out what the Chew Valley has to offer.

• The hut has a comfortable king size bed with all seasons duvet, extra blankets for your warmth and comfort. 

• There is a sofa and side table. 

• Log Burner - you can order heat logs for this from us

• Kitchen equipped with small fridge freezer section 

• Butler sink, two ring electric convection hob

• Combi microwave oven with grill and convection oven

• Ensuite bathroom with shower, towels and bathrobes. 

• Hot tub with flip flops. 

• Storage places for clothes including 2 cupboards for your clothes plus drawers

• EV charging on request

Bye Mills Farm is no longer a working farm but home to my family of 4. We will give you space and privacy and will rarely see each other, only our friendly dog doesn't seem to understand the rules and may pay you a visit.
